Vennela Yadhati
Vennela Yadhati is the Senior Manager, Power-to-X at Ørsted, the world’s largest offshore wind producer, and the most sustainable energy company. As part of Ørsted’s P2X team, Vennela leads commercial strategy and business development efforts for new energy technologies including green hydrogen and e-fuels, to help decarbonize even the hard-to-abate industry sectors. Prior to Ørsted, Vennela worked as the Clean Energy Advisory Services Manager for the New York Power Authority where she helped develop over 300 MW of distributed solar and energy storage projects at NYPA’s customers’ locations throughout the state of New York. Vennela brings over 12 years of experience working on renewable energy projects in various capacities, from origination to commercial operation and ongoing O&M support. She developed, designed, and managed over 1,500 MW of utility and C&I scale solar PV and energy storage projects. In addition, she has experience working with electric vehicles (EV) and charging infrastructure and integration of the same for vehicle to grid (V2G) applications. She serves as a Board Member for Sustainable Westchester, a non-profit consortium of local governments within Westchester County, NY that facilitates effective collaboration on sustainability and clean energy initiatives. Vennela holds a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology and is a registered P.E. in the states of Florida, Missouri and New York.
