Aurko Dutta

Aurko Dutta is the Senior Director, Commercial at Swift Current Energy. Aurko has 25 years of experience in the energy industry managing the development of new ventures as well as the acquisition of large portfolios and individual assets. He has led greenfield development of both conventional and renewable power generation assets in North America and in emerging markets.  As Senior Director at Swift Current Energy, Aurko focuses on project execution across the company’s pipeline and on commercial negotiations with counterparties throughout the project lifecycle.

Prior to joining Swift Current, Aurko led project development and M&A efforts at Renewable Biofuels, Globeleq, Hart Energy International and Coastal Power Company. Aurko holds a B.A. in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin.
